The Lighthouse now standing in rarified air!!! Hard to imagine how 4 feet can make her so proud and noble!!
A happy crew and job well done at 4:00 pm Thursday, June 22, 2017. THIS JUST IN! SPHLS volunteers will be selling raffle tickets at the Morell COOP on Sunday, June 25th from 1-5 pm. We hope to see you there! We are almost finished the last stage of cleaning the building with a high water pressure blast.
Three passes are made at the wall including one with an anti-mildew mixture. With the final pass, the original brown of the shingle returns. You can see a 2100 gallon water truck at the parking area with its hose carefully placed along the path to the building. Next week, stay tuned for raising the lighthouse! |
