Just 10 days left before the St. Peters Lighthouse Society Annual General Meeting! it has indeed been an exciting summer for the SPH Lighthouse Society! The restoration work has transformed the lighthouse and just a few details remain to be completed. We could not have achieved this success without the support of the community and we will share details of this work at the upcoming Annual General Meeting to be held on on Thursday, Aug. 31st at 7:00 p.m. at the Leo Rossiter Park Chalet in Morell. Please join us! We will also be drawing the winning tickets from our SPHLS Raffle effort so it promises to be an exciting event! Raffle tickets can still be purchased by contacting Katie Sheahan at 902-961-8920 or by writing to [email protected]. We will also have a booth at the Morell Farmers Market on Sunday, Aug. 27th from 9 - 1. Stay tuned in the days and weeks ahead for photos of the lighthouse that many have begun to share with us! Here is a peek at just one that was spotted on display at the Panmure Island Lighthouse and that was taken in the early 70s! Our thanks to Vera Teschow for sending this our way.
