Welcome to ownership of the St. Peters Harbour Lighthouse!!!

Your Executive is delighted to report that the MOA (purchase agreement) for our lighthouse has been concluded with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO),  according to the terms of the Heritage Lighthouse Act.

This announcement follows the successful completion earlier this month of the required 90 day public appeal period, and the subsequent issue by the DFO of our Bill of Sale Absolute.         

Stay tuned for the completion of our (GA) restoration grant.  The money is on the way and soon will be deposited in our account at the Morell Credit Union.            

With SPHLS ownership, and as advertised, our Founding Membership Campaign has now been concluded.  In August, we look forward to celebrations at the lighthouse, and unveiling a handsome bronze plaque featuring the names of all of our Founding Members.
